The Glass City Corvette Club is located in Toledo,
Ohio with members from the greater Toledo area.
The Glass City
Corvette Club was founded in 1966. The club conducted meetings during its
early days in the garage of one of the founders. Today... the club holds
meetings in the service write-up area of Ed Schmidt located at 26875 North Dixie Highway
(State Route 25), Perrysburg,
Ohio.
The meetings are held
on the first Sunday of every month at 7pm. Visitors are always welcome.

The mission of the
Club is to promote fellowship with others who share events associated with the
Corvette . Events associated with the Corvette are used to achieve this
goal. They include cruises, rallies, parades, car shows, picnics and
parties
Members of the club
receive a monthly newsletter, The Fiber Fibber.

A competitive point system
is used by the club and members are encouraged to compete for club
recognition.

Members of the club enjoy
discounts at local area merchants that advertise in the monthly
newsletter.
|
Membership in the
National Council of Corvette Clubs is mandatory.
|
The Club is incorporated and is a non profit
organization.
|
|
|
|
The Club is governed by an eight member
executive board elected by the membership on a yearly basis.
|
Membership is
limited to persons owning a Corvette and their spouse. Proof of ownership
is required at time of application.
